- A casual Barbeque dinner at the home of Joe Carr and Karen Winn which is approximately 5 miles from the show site. This will be an evening to have some fun and socialize. We will try to arrange for a field event if time permits. Directions will be available at ringside.

The price of the meal will be $25 per person. Checks should be made out to the ABTCC and sent to Karen Winn at 2965 Spurr Rd., Lexington, KY 40511.
Deadline for reservations will be Thursday, August 28.

HOST HOTEL
Our host hotel will again be the Red Roof Inn at Exit #113 off of I-75/64. The physical address is 1980 Haggard Ct., Lexington, KY 40505. The inn phone number is 859-293-2626, but please do not use this number for making your reservations!
There is ample grass for walking dogs, and the inn is an easy drive 2 exits south of the KY Horse Park exit. We have been able to get a fantastic rate for a block of 20 rooms of $ 54.99 per night, starting on Wed. Aug. 27. This is with 2 beds and 1-4 people per room. The phone number to call to make your reservations is 800-733-7663 and the block number to get this special pricing is: B044000507. The deadline to get this group rate is July 27, 2008, so be sure to get your reservations made early!
CAMPGROUND RESERVATIONS
I need to have a preliminary count of those who will need campground reservations for the show so I can arrange a “block” in the campground for just the coonhound folks. If you would please email Karen Winn at: mainoffice@ponyclub.org or call me at 859-229-5224 and leave me a message on the number of campground spots you need, I will be able to give a tentative number to the coordinator of the campgrounds for the cluster. I need this preliminary information asap. If your name is not on the following list, please contact me right away!

For those who have not been here before, the Kentucky Horse Park has a wonderful full-service campground, complete with hookups, a store, and a pool in a lovely setting with lots of trees. The cost should run in the neighborhood of $20 per night.
